Terminal 1 Dining Options: A Glimpse at Culinary Offerings in One of the World’s Busiest Airports

Terminal 1 Dining Options

One of the world’s busiest airports is known for its culinary prowess. Its 270+ restaurants serve passengers and employees alike.

Harry Reid’s new Terminal 3 includes a more-than-decent food and entertainment offering, but the options in Terminal 1 still fall a bit short. Luckily, there are a few spots worth checking out.

PGA Tour Grill

The PGA Tour Grill features a menu of Hawaiian-inspired foods in a sports bar atmosphere. Travelers can also enjoy a variety of draft and bottled beers and wine. The PGA Tour Grill is operated by global restaurateur HMSHost with partnership from the PGA Tour.

Travelers can dine on dishes like Waialae, which combines Kalua pork with crunchy tropical slaw and crispy onions served on a toasted Hawaiian sweet bread, and the Kapolei, which is a sweet and spicy BBQ chicken sandwich. The menu also includes sandwiches and salads.

Moe’s Southwest

The Moe’s Southwest restaurant chain serves Mexican and Tex-Mex food. Their build-your-own tacos, bowls, and nachos feature a variety of fresh ingredients that are tailored to each customer’s tastes. The menu also features a number of healthy options.

This airport eatery also offers drinks and desserts. Some of the popular options are a chocolate chip chookie and the famous Moe’s queso dip. The dip is rich and creamy with a subtle hint of heat from the jalapenos.

Jimmy John’s

Jimmy John’s serves sandwiches, wraps, and salads, as well as a selection of drinks and desserts. The popular fast-food chain has a wide variety of lunch specials Monday through Friday.

The menu features classic favorites like the Vito with genoa salami and capicola and the light turkey Tom. The Beach Club is a sandwich for the beach, while the Italian Night Club provides savory flavor.

Located at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Terminal E, Gameway is the world’s first premium video gaming lounge designed to make your airport wait fun. Travelers can relax at individual gaming stations fitted with PlayStation or Xbox game consoles and Tomahawk gaming PCs; plush Razor Iskur gaming chairs, sanitized Kraken headsets, and high speed Internet; a range of snacks and drinks; and friendly staff.

Dedicated to making airports entertaining, Gameway is the brainchild of husband-and-wife team Jordan and Emma Walbridge. They launched their first Gameway location in Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in 2018, followed by lounges in LAX and Charlotte.

Jamba Juice

Jamba Juice is a restaurant chain that serves blended drinks, fruits and vegetables, snacks, and breakfast sandwiches. The menu offers many healthy options, but some drinks are high in sugar and calories.

Drinks like fruit juices are a concentrated source of sugar and calories, so it is best to skip them. Instead, try a smoothie or bowl with more fiber and protein and less sugar and added fruits and ice.

This secret menu item is made with soy milk, pomegranate juice, raspberry sherbet, pineapple sherbet, lime sherbet, frozen yogurt, strawberries, and ice.

Moe’s Burrito Bowls

For a limited time, Moe’s is offering burrito bowls in addition to its menu of burritos, quesadillas, nachos, salads and tacos. Featuring rice covered with pinto beans, grilled onions and peppers, handmade pico de gallo, shredded cheese and Moe’s famous queso. Available with choice of protein: slow cooked pulled pork, all-natural sirloin steak, adobo chicken or seasoned tofu. Includes a side of sour cream and guac. Available for pickup or delivery. Pei Wei

Pei Wei is the second largest Chinese fast-casual restaurant chain in the US. Their bold sauces and fresh ingredients are wok’d to order. The restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options. The company also serves a variety of beverages.

Many of their entrees are high in sodium. You can minimize this by choosing a lower-calorie dish. In addition, you can use lettuce or cauliflower rice to reduce calories and carbohydrates.

The restaurant offers a military and first-responder discount, as well as an app that allows customers to track their rewards and pay for orders. The chain also offers online ordering.

Cigars & Co.

Ridiculously large pizza slices and artisanal topping creations from Chef Stalin Bedon are served at this sleek, modern Italian restaurant. Antipasti, light entrees and a great wine and beer selection round out the menu.

Local Tavern is a passenger favorite with a warm toned, natural design that includes plenty of wood elements. A variety of comfortable stools and booths provide the perfect place to relax before your flight.

Travel essentials, tech accessories like phone chargers and unique gift items are available at a variety of shops throughout the terminal. See our Terminal Maps for locations.
